We are an Independent, Fundamental, King James Bible preaching church.
Rock Heritage Baptist Church was chartered in November of 1981, whiel meeting in the Sullivan South High School. Dr. Summer Wemp presided over the chartering, with about forty people joining that day, and electing Garry Lucian Eads as pastor. During december of that year the current property was purchased and in January of 1982 the first service at 4838 Fort Henry Drive was held. In the fall of 1982 a new sanctuary was built and is now used as our Sunday School wing. The current sanctuary was built in 1999, and our multipurpose building was completed in 2010. Over the years many souls have been saved, lives changed, and men have been sent forth to preach the Gospel.

     The first missions trips were taken in the summer and fall of 1983, with several teens and men going to help our missionary to New Orleans. Missionaries have been helped on their way and recently we have been priveleged to help build four new church buildings in the Philippines and three in India. Our church currently supports over 25 different missionaries.

    One thing that we can say for sure here at Rock Heritage Baptist Church: God is faithful and we look forward to see Him continuing to work in our midst.
